Thursday
I did it! Yay me! I make it back! haha. Okay so my weekly round up it is!!
Okay, First I will finally show the pillowcase to the blanket I'm gonna make for my eldest daughter (6)
On Saturday my sick lings were so tired of being cooped up and I dont much blame them because I am too!! Im ready to plant my garden and get some much needed outside work done around here! Anywho, I decided to make them some moon sand. They had a blast and didnt even fight for about 20 minutes haha! Moon sand: 8 cups flour, 1 cup of baby oil. Mix it and they can create whatever.
Later that evening I made some body scrub! (sorry cant give away the recipe!) But I made some up to sell! So check out my etsy account Momma's Crafty Creation! This is the Chocolate Body Scrub. Smells yummy!
Lastnight I made my nieces Easter baskets. Filled with a NKJV Bible that they asked for (Makes me so proud of them) A Cross necklace, Some candy, and a light up chick, Chap Stick, and Fingernail Polish! Check it out!
So, I need a cute Easter outfit for Church, So my projects over the next few days is a skirt, a lace shirt, a scarf, and to hopefully start cutting on that dang blanket!!
Hope you think my ideas are as cute as i do!!
God Bless!

Wednesday
I wonder ... does any one else start as many projects as I do? I think I have about 20 going on at the moment. Which hasnt been an easy task due to sickness, weather, a broken needle on my sewing machine, and our more than usual running around. But today I did finish our Easter shopping which is totally exciting. Tomorrow I believe I will do a weekly catch up of everything that has been made in the past week with pictures. Hasnt been an all bad week tho hectic. So I just thought I would drop in to make it noted that I havent fallen off the face of the Earth and I am still crafting ;) slowly but surely.
God Bless.
See you soon!

Friday
Well, It's been a long week I can say. I finally ventured out to get items that I needed but we've been cooped up in the house again due to the kiddies have Bronchitis. But it has been a good week! I got a new car Wednesday. I love it. And of course find any excuse to venture out in it. I still haven't started on the quilt. But I have been working on a few other things. I hope to finish this evening at least one or two of them! Then hopefully I will get to have a crafty day tomorrow as well. Sunday will be a no go after church because my eldest niece has her birthday party that day. I really need to find my disk for my printer. I got a new computer and I really need to print out some things for a project. Here in a few minutes I have to get back to cleaning. Does anyone else hate cleaning as much as I do? This is just sorta an update post to let everyone know whats been going on with us. I know I only post once a week, hopefully it will become more frequently than that. This evening or tomorrow I will post about my 2 finished projects, with pictures. Have a blessed Friday!

Sunday
Well all, the winter storm hit so of course I wasn't able to venture out to get what I needed and of course by the time I was able to, I forgot. Haha. We've been fighting off a flu bug as well around here so I can say over all things have been unproductive around here. Until yesterday. Hubby and I knocked out the cleaning of the whole house yesterday. So that way today, after church I could do whatever I wanted. This is very excited as usually I sew or craft in clutter. So after church, we came home it was 50 degrees today so we took the kids out to play for about an hour then they came in to take a nap. That was my time. So I got all my material out I had a lot of sewing to catch up on. Since we just moved I've been meaning to get around to making new curtains and today was my day. I made curtains for our room and the kids rooms. If you've never sewn curtains before I suggest using flat sheets. That's what I use because non of us use them and they already match the sheets. Its a very easy project. Then, I started on my eldest daughters new bed set I got the pillow case done which she had to show off to her pawpaw when he got here for dinner because as she says "It's so cool" Tomorrow is hubbys "friday" so hopefully on Tuesday I can get some time to sit down and start cutting out the squares or triangles for her quilt. I am very eager to take on this project. I've never quilted a blanket. Hoping it goes well so that I have plenty of confidence for the next 2. Seeing as how I'm lazy I didnt get around to uploading any pictures like I did before, However, I plan to have them uploaded for my next blog. (I'm not really lazy but with this bug I have laying around has become a new hobby) So if anyone has and questions on the pillow cases or curtains just let me know. I'd be happy to help!
God Bless!

New Business
I've decided to start my own at home craft business. I am going to sell the things i create on Etsy. This blog is for people who want to make the things i do, it will be pictures, how to's, and links to things i find. This Isn't my first time trying this. I am currently working on a set of jute bottles and a candle holder. The Jute bottle was easy. I went to the dollar store where i found jute for a dollar. it was a very good deal. So i came home and grabbed a beer bottle (one of many I've saved) wrapped it. I thought to myself ... hmmm .... this could be cuter. So i cute out a "B" and tried to spray paint it like a stencil it worked okay. But my B looks more like an 8. Now that i finally have my printer hooked up i can print out a better B. We are suppose to get hit with a winter storm tonight so I'm not sure if i will be able to venture out to get some more spray paint, printer paper, and a few other items i need to finish this first product.
A few days ago my nieces lost everything they owned in a fire other than about 2 weeks of clothes. So i took them to town and let them pick out some fabric and bought them new pillows. I made them some cool pillow cases that they love. raising 4 kids Isn't easy and since the fire I've had 6 the house is finally getting back to normal now so i can start doing things properly around here again with a little less noise. I'm uploading pictures of the pillow cases just to show them off. I'm not looking to take on many sewing jobs at the moment due to so many sewing needs in my own home. In a few days I plan to start a blanket and pillow case for my eldest daughter.
This pattern was super easy. I didn't even use a pattern really. I spread the material out and used my best judgement. Like I said i let the girls pick out what they wanted the oldest is obsessed with cows and the youngest is a little more girly. If you would like more instructions on how to do this please let me know. I would be happy to help.
